Most MedCoverage members get a personalized email back from a licensed agent within an hour of submitting their address, and are enrolled in a plan the same day. The full process — quote, plan comparison, paperwork, and confirmation — happens entirely over email. No multi-day waiting, no portal logins, no phone tag.
Traditional insurance sites front-load 40+ fields before they'll show you a single plan. We do the opposite. One email address lets a real, licensed human reach out in writing, ask only what's actually needed, and shop carriers for you. We're paid a standard commission by the insurance carrier when you enroll in a plan — and that commission is identical whether you go through us or directly to the carrier. You pay the exact same monthly premium either way, but with us you get an advocate who actually shops the market for you.
Yes. Most members bundle dental, vision, and supplemental coverage on the same call. Your agent will quote standalone plans starting around $15/month or bundled options that often cost less than buying them separately. Tell your agent what you want covered and they'll line up the options.
Losing or changing jobs is a 'qualifying life event,' which means you can enroll in a new plan right now even outside Open Enrollment. Depending on your situation we'll show you ACA marketplace plans (often with subsidies that drop your premium dramatically), short-term coverage as a bridge, or COBRA alternatives. Most of our members find a better, cheaper plan than COBRA in the first call.
Yes — family plans are one of our most common signups. We'll cover you, your spouse, and your kids on a single policy, or build a mixed plan if different family members have different needs (e.g. one parent on an HSA plan, kids on a richer copay plan). Stepchildren, adopted children, and dependents up to age 26 all qualify.
Real insurance. Every plan we offer is a fully licensed major medical, dental, vision, or supplemental policy issued by a state-regulated carrier — with a real network, real benefits, and ACA-compliant coverage where applicable. We don't sell discount cards, health-sharing ministries, or any product that won't show up on your insurance card.
Then keep it. Our agents will tell you honestly if your current coverage is a good deal — and if it is, they'll say so and end the call. If we find a better-priced or better-fit plan, you'll see the side-by-side comparison and decide. Zero pressure, zero gimmicks.
